Jeremiah Alspaugh spent much of his childhood at the creek or local pond, where he developed a passion for fishing. Although he enjoyed catching bass, he found himself increasingly drawn to catfishing, captivated by the strong hits and challenging fights that catfish offered. At the age of 14, Jeremiah was invited to fish for flathead catfish on a nearby river. That night, after catching nearly 20 flatheads, his love for catfishing turned into an obsession. Determined to pursue this passion further, he worked tirelessly over the summer, saving every penny to purchase a boat. To this day, he still runs that same boat, spending every available moment chasing flatheads and honing his skills.
Jeremiah Alspaugh dedicated countless hours on the water, experimenting with various techniques to master the art of catching big flathead catfish. Through trial and error, he gradually became more consistent in his success. At the age of 16, he decided to enter his first fishing tournament, where he secured 3rd place and won the award for the biggest fish. This achievement fueled his determination to continue improving and winning tournaments. Over the years, Jeremiah accumulated numerous tournament victories and top placements, which led to others seeking his expertise and inviting him to fish with them. Realizing his dream of making a living from fishing, he seized the opportunity nearly four years ago. Now, at 26, he continues to pursue his passion for fishing as a full-time career.
